Calling All Artists and Storytellers! "Connected!" at ARTPRIZE 2014

"Connected 2013: Art From a Spiritual Perspective"  a collaboration between Artists and Storytellers.

Gallery 22 Artists Dawn Russell and Jane Ditri participated in last years' inaugural project, where 30 artists were randomly matched with 30 storytellers collaborated to capture the essence of a "word", 30 of which were randomly assigned to each team.

The results of this collaboration, 30 paintings and 30 stories, were then presented as a single exhibit at ARTPRIZE 2013, published in a beautiful, "coffee table" book, and are currently on display in a year-long national tour.

"Connected 2014" brings an even bigger collaboration, which Dawn and Jane will again participate in, involving 5 separate books from different perspectives, allowing more painters and storytellers to experience this wonderfully challenging, rewarding opportunity.

"Matching Events" for the project have been initiated, but there are still slots available in some of the "Books".

If you love art, and would like to explore its possibilities for healing, growth and "Connecting" with others, please visit the linked website above, and consider taking part in this exciting, personally challenging opportunity!
